How do guests get their code?
You create a time-limited PIN in the app (from anywhere) and message it to the guest before arrival. The code activates at check-in time and expires at check-out.
What if the battery dies?
The app warns you weeks in advance, and locks have emergency power options (USB/9V depending on model) plus mechanical key backup.
Do smart locks work without internet?
Yes — time-based PIN codes work offline. Adding a TTLock gateway enables remote unlocking and real-time entry logs over the internet.
Can this scale to a hotel?
