LHDN Compliance

E-INVOICE COMPLIANCE WITHOUT THE PANIC

Malaysian hotels must now issue LHDN-validated e-invoices through MyInvois — and from 1 January 2026, transactions above RM10,000 can no longer hide in consolidated invoices. Ang Systems connects your PMS and POS to MyInvois so folios, deposits and F&B bills become compliant e-invoices automatically.

How It Runs

FROM BOOKING TO MYINVOIS IN FOUR STEPS

Every step happens inside your own systems, so compliance runs quietly in the background while your team looks after guests.

  1. Step 1

    Generate

e-Invoices are created automatically from every booking, folio and POS bill. No re-keying, no separate spreadsheet.

  2. Step 2

    Validate

Each invoice is checked against LHDN rules and the buyer's TIN before it is sent, so errors never reach MyInvois.

  3. Step 3

    Submit

Invoices go straight to the MyInvois portal — one click or fully automated — and you get the validation status in real time.

  4. Step 4

    Share

The validated e-Invoice, with its QR code, is issued to your guest and stored audit-ready inside your system.

FAQ

QUESTIONS HOTELIERS ASK US

Do hotels in Malaysia need to issue e-invoices?

Yes. E-invoicing is being mandated in phases by annual revenue; businesses between RM1M and RM5M came into scope on 1 January 2026, and larger hotels earlier. Only businesses under RM1M revenue are exempt.

What is the RM10,000 rule?

From 1 January 2026, any transaction above RM10,000 must get an individual e-invoice — it can no longer be bundled into a monthly consolidated e-invoice. For hotels this catches events, corporate bookings and long stays.

What happens if we do not comply?

Section 82C of the Income Tax Act provides penalties of RM200 to RM20,000 per non-compliant invoice, with full enforcement from 1 January 2027 for the 2026 phase. Non-compliance also costs you corporate business: companies increasingly require validated e-invoices to pay you.

Can our existing PMS and POS do this?

If you run systems we support (including eZee and aiOrder POS), we integrate them with MyInvois directly. During assessment we confirm exactly what your current stack can and cannot do.
